Contains natural hair loss inhibitors in a herbal micro-nutrient high potency formulation. Provides specific essential nutrients to help maximise hair growth. Active ingredient is Saw Palmetto. Scientific research shows saw palmetto acts in a similar way to DHT Blocker (without the side effects) by blocking an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. 5-alpha-reductase is required for the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is cited as the main cause of genetic hair loss, or pattern baldness.

We are now producing an upgraded DHT blocker using higher-quality raw materials. The addition of tomato extract provides further support for DHT reduction by helping inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme involved in converting testosterone into DHT. Elevated DHT levels are linked to the miniaturisation of hair follicles in androgenetic alopecia. Tomatoes are also a natural source of vitamins A and C, which support collagen production and help maintain a healthy scalp.

DHT contributes to both male (and female) pattern baldness by binding to scalp follicle receptors, causing them to miniturise and gradually lose the ability to produce new hairs. Other Scientific studies show saw palmetto working instead by reducing the uptake of DHT at the receptor sites. Whatever the case, there is agreement that the active ingredients in saw palmetto in some way has a positive effect on DHT which makes it an essential therapy for hair loss and balding. ​ For optimum effect use alongside our Formula NM + liquid or lotion and our strengthening hair loss shampoo.
